The hall size is 14m x 8.8m (46ft x 29ft) The stage size is 4.8m x 4.5m
There are 120 chairs, 17 tables at 5ft x 3ft, 6 tables at 3ft x 3ft, and three trestle tables suitable for buffet layout at 10ft x 3ft. The Main Hall has a capacity for 120 people seated. Functions with a standing audience have a maximum of 200 people.
Also available for hirers use is a drop down screen on the stage and a projector stand suitable for presentations, a hand held and a lapel microphone, and an audio system linked to the hall speaker system.
Hire charges include full use of these facilities, heating and lighting.
The Hall has easy, step free, access to users from the front or from the field.
Separate Meeting Room/Bar
This room has separate outside access and provides an ideal bar area for functions. There is a sink and drainer, mobile bar and 6ft fridge.
The fully equipped kitchen has a 5 ring Halogen hob, built in double oven, microwave, Hydro Boiler providing instant hot water for refreshments, fridge, freezer and a commercial dishwasher. We also offer use of a large warming cabinet, cutlery and crockery for 120 place settings, teapots and water jugs. Please note. We do not supply saucepans or wineglasses.
The Stage adds to the versatility of the hall allowing a range of local variety events as provided regularly by the Kennet Valley Amateur Dramatics Group. Social functions such as Weddings and Parties utilize the stage for Discos, Bands etc. The Hall is fully licensed for such functions. A motorized screen for video projection together with hand and lapel microphones linked to the fitted loudspeakers and audio loop system, provides full support facilities for visiting Speakers.
Changing Rooms and Toilet Facilities
There are separate large male and female changing rooms and toilets, an easily accessible disabled toilet with baby changing facilities.
There is ample free parking for 50 plus cars and designated disabled parking bays with access to the hall via a specially constructed ramp
Kennet Valley Hall provides a free WIFI hotspot as part of the Marlborough Area Development Trust Community WIFI scheme.
With the magnificent views across the Marlborough Downs, the Hall provides the perfect setting for Weddings and Celebration events. The private lawned area behind the hall is ideal for marquees and outdoor catering. There is also a small children’s play area.Full use of the recreation field is included in your hire charge
